Chartered Naval Architect and member of RINA with over ten years of experience in the maritime industry. Has experience with condition and pre-purchase inspections for all sizes of yachts as well as hull & machinery claims.
Started her career with LOC based in the UK and held positions in Italy, China and Singapore, focusing on casualty response, marine claims and disputes. Acted as company representative during salvage/wreck removal operations for a number of projects in Europe and Asia. Provided advice on cases including groundings, collisions, sinkings, container loss, mooring failures and worked on-site to support marine casualties providing technical support and cost control.
Maria is from Thessaloniki, Greece, and is fluent in English, Greek and Spanish.
